Sinopse:

Raiden e seus guerreiros falharam ao tentarem derrotar a Aliança Mortal, e Raiden luta sozinho contra Quan Chi e Shang-Tsung, sendo derrotado pelos dois. porém, antes que pudessem comemorar suas vitórias, com todo o exército ressuscitado, o próprio Rei Onaga ressurge e quer reassumir seu trono. Raiden se une aos feiticeiros para tentar derrotar Onaga, mas é em vão, então Raiden usa todo seu poder restante que acaba destruindo completamente o templo onde estavam, matando Quan Chi, Shang-Tsung, e ele mesmo. mas, o sacrifício de Raiden também foi em vão, pois a explosão do templo não fez nenhum arranhão em Onaga, que agora possui o poder do amuleto de Shinnok. agora, Onaga planeja obter os seis artefatos poderosos, conhecidos como Kamidogus, que possuem poder suficiente para destruir todos os reinos. sabendo disso, um velho guerreiro chamado Shujinko reúne novos guerreiros para derrotar Onaga e impedir seus planos.

Synopsis:

Raiden and his warriors have failed by trying to defeat the Deadly Alliance, and Raiden fights alone against Quan Chi and Shang-Tsung, being defeated by them both. however, before they can win, with all the army resurrected, the Dragon King Onaga awakens and wants to take his throne again. Raiden fights along the evil sorcerers to try to defeat Onaga, but failed. so, Raiden uses all his power as an Elder God which destroys all the palace, killing Quan Chi, Shang-Tsung and himself. but, the sacrifice was in vain, because the explosion did not hurt Onaga, who now owns the power of Shinnok’s amulet. now, Onaga plans to obtain the six powerful artifacts, known as the Kamidogus, which has the power to destroy all the realms. by knowing that, an old man called Shujinko reunites new warriors to defeat Onaga and stop his plans.
