Sinopse:

Após Liu Kang derrotar Shao Kahn, os guerreiros da Terra vencerem o torneio mais uma vez em Outworld, e finalmente a Terra estava livre das forças de Outworld. mas Shao Kahn não aceita a derrota e decide quebrar as regras do Mortal Kombat, impostas pelos Deuses Antigos, ressuscitando a Rainha Sindel e juntando seu exército para atacar a Terra e uní-la com Outworld. agora, Raiden reúne seus guerreiros para proteger a Terra do ataque das forças de Outworld e iniciar a batalha final contra Shao Kahn.

Synopsis:

After Liu Kang defeats Shao Kahn, the Earthrealm warriors has won the tournament once again in Outworld, and finally Earthrealm was free from the threat of Outworld. but Shao Kahn does not accept the defeat and decide to break the rules of Mortal Kombat, installed by the Elder Gods, resurrecting the Queen Sindel and reuniting his army to attack the Earthrealm and merge it to Outworld. now, Raiden reunites his warriors to protect the Earthrealm from the rampage of the Outworld Forces and begin the final battle against Shao Kahn.
